Scalar Magnetics was founded by Stephen DeVience, Ph.D., to explore magnetic resonance at low magnetic fields. Stephen received his doctorate from Harvard University in the field of Physical Chemistry. His thesis explored new properties and applications of long-lived nuclear spin singlet states as well as NMR spectroscopy detected with nitrogen-vacancy centers. He also has expertise in MRI and EPR spectroscopy.
